The number of “0-posts, no-avatar” accounts spewing hate and divisive rhetoric in Instagram comment sections has gone absolutely wild over the past year. I’ve literally blocked hundreds of them, but it’s a losing game — more appear every day than anyone could ever block. And reporting them is pointless, too.
I bet it wouldn’t be too hard for Meta to block or downrank these accounts by default — if there were any real will to do so. 🥲
